I am dedicating this Year’s EndSars Anniversary to Pelumi Onifade; a young promising journalist who was arrested and killed in detention for recording the video of a Nigerian Politician shooting at EndSars Protesters.
Four years later, Justice has not been served in the matter of Pelumi Onifade. The Lagos State Government has also refused to release his body to his family.

Sun protection is not ONLY about sunscreen. Too many nuances involved. There are many risks associated with not using sunscreen/ inadequate sun protection.

Get some sun- at the right time- but not ALL the sun.

There needs to be balance but sunscreen is not the bad guy here.

There isn't enough scientific evidence to link Vitamin D deficiency directly to sunscreen use. However, too much sun protection (constantly staying indoors, protective clothing) could be an issue.
People barely use enough SPF + you don't need a ton of sun to produce Vitamin D.

‘Aluminum- free’ deodorant is low-key a scam because aluminum salts are anti-perspirants, not deodorants.

Anti-perspirants temporarily block sweat/ sweating while deodorants reduce the smell of sweat.

They aren’t the same. One product can do both - antiperspirant deodorants.

It’s ONE batch 81832M 08, from ONE country, Germany that was recalled by the EU.
This doesn’t affect all Dove bars or products.
The bar code is not the issue

TL;DR: Dove soap/ bar is not banned. It is not harmful.
Only one batch from one country is affected by the lilial presence.

There are other products that have been recalled (approx. one batch each.)

@NafdacAgency alerted a recall done in May by the EU based on a notification from Czech Republic (I think they had Italy on their website before but updated it.)

This recall was requested on May 10, 2024. NAFDAC’s alert was August 30, 2024.

NAFDAC also said they don’t have the product registered and it seems like the importation of soap is not allowed in Nigeria?
