Especially outside of the games. Apparently in the manga it was able to fight with Ultra Necrozma. Haven't found the whole thing yet, so Power Levels are high, but not clear yet.
As for the design and inspiration, and its gimmicks, I just like them.

Ignoring the terrible track record for Netflix anime adaptations, *this* Netflix anime adaptation *also* has to compete with the original source material that's still running. Meaning it also has to convince us to go backwards in the story.
@bowserboy5 @dense_af As someone who was homeschooled up to college, I can assure you that even this isn't an issue unless you make it into one.
Then again, I was homeschooled in Texas, where the laws are pretty homeschool-friendly, so mileage may vary *a bit*.
