In 1965, a boy was coerced into becoming a girl for a sinister science experiment.

Bruce and Brian Reimer, born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1965, were twin brothers who faced the challenge of phimosis, a condition characterized by a tight foreskin that causes urination difficulties. As a solution, both boys underwent circumcision to alleviate the issue.

Following Bruce's turn for the operation, an unfortunate incident occurred when the doctor employed a burning technique instead of a blade, resulting in the loss of Bruce's penis. The devastating outcome led his parents on a quest for a resolution, ultimately leading them to encounter John Money, a renowned psychologist renowned for his studies on gender and sex.

According to Money's assertions, he posited that gender was a construct shaped by society and that infants are born without a specific gender, suggesting that it is a learned behavior rather than a biological trait.

Money proposed that Bruce be raised as a girl, withholding any information about his operation. Concurring with Money's suggestion, Bruce's parents agreed, and thus Brenda emerged. Brenda underwent treatments to facilitate breast growth and received prosthetic vagina surgery, all in an effort to mold her into a girl. However, this approach ultimately failed, exposing the erroneous nature of Money's gender theory.

Brenda exhibited masculine traits, indicating that behavior is influenced by biological factors. She expressed her disinterest in dresses and typical girls' belongings, articulating her perspective in the following words:

David encountered a woman named Jane, with whom he entered into marriage and fathered three children. However, their relationship eventually deteriorated, prompting Jane to request a separation. Plagued by unemployment and haunted by his troubled past, David, at the age of 38, tragically took his own life in 2004 by self-inflicted gunshot using a shotgun.
