Brandon Alderson, from Sunderland, UK, was travelling to work when he noticed a man in distress in a layby.

He pulled over and saw that the man was suffocating. Brandon performed the Heimlich manoeuvre six times and saved the man's life..

NEW: New bodycam footage shows Texas man Kenneth Knotts saying "I can't breathe" before dying in police custody at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Knotts was taken for a mental health evaluation after a traffic stop.

When he got to the hospital, Knotts appeared to be suffering from a mental breakdown and wouldn't comply with the police.

Knotts was taken to the hospital after his tire blew out on the freeway. An incident report says he was acting "erratically, combative and spitting" when police approached.

After wrestling with him and putting him on his stomach in the hospital, Knotts stopped breathing.

"No pulse! No pulse!" a staffer yelled.

The medical examiner report allegedly ruled Knotts died of cardiac arrest after being put in a "semi-prone position," a homicide.

In November, a Dallas County grand jury declined to indict anyone involved with the homicide.

An enhanced audio recording of Anneliese Michel talking while claiming to be possessed by a demon.

Anneliese began blacking out at school when she was just 16. Shortly after this, she started to convulse and vomit uncontrollably.

Her parents believed that she had been possessed and this belief was reinforced when Anneliese began eating spiders, coal, and even drinking her own urine.

During her first exorcism, six demons apparently revealed themselves through Anneliese.

In a deep, guttural voice, she would claim to be possessed by Lucifer, Judas and Cain, among others.

Anneliese wanted the exorcisms to be taped and she herself asked that the tapes eventually be made public so that there would be proof that the devil was real. 

In the end, 67 exorcisms were performed with 42 of them recorded on tape, but Anneliese Michel did not get any better.

She would die at the age of 23 years old from starvation, weighing only around 66 lbs at the time of her death.

While the Church believed this to be a tragic result of demonic possession and failed exorcism, the courts saw this as much more and charged both the priests involved and Anneliese’s parents with negligent homicide.

Doctors came to the conclusion she suffered from Grand Mal Epilepsy and Psychosis.

Her story directly inspired the 2005 film "The Exorcism of Emily Rose."

A police officer pulls over a couple on their first date and responds to their fatal collision 10 minutes later.

The 24 year old man was driving like a dickhead before a North Bergen police officer initiated a traffic stop and issued citations for reckless driving, running lights, and driving after hours (a provisional license violation).

After letting them go with several tickets, the driver slammed into the back of a tractor trailer, completely peeling the roof off of the vehicle.

From personal experience, I’m gonna have to say they both probably died instantly from decapitation.

Wanted to thank all my friends for their prayers for my family. If you didn’t know just a few weeks ago we laid my 33 year old cousin Melissa to rest & just a few weeks later now our mother. Mom was really suffering over this loss & I’m sure it might of contributed to her passing. What makes this tremendously hard is the little girl left behind that my mom used to care for 24/7. My 7yr old niece has autism & type 1 diabetes. My mother did everything for her. She’s been looking around confused searching for her as she also lost a mother. This is all too much. I’m heartbroken 💔 confused & still trying to to process why God would take 2 close family members from me weeks apart but he knows why. We are all still mourning my cousins death. Never done anything like this on my own so yes a prayer of strength would be appreciated. I’m left in charge to plan everything out for mom & know that’s going to be difficult also. I understand many of you are going through your own sufferings & I want you to know I’m also lifting you up in prayer. Love you all.
