@Callsigndinky It seems that Caroline was incorrectly listed as mother when he was asked for his next of kin. This is confirmed by the "is your mother alive - no" on the second image.

We shall have a look to see if we can find Clara.

@LostTreeProject We've been tracing back from someone's DNA matches so we can work out who her missing grandfather was. That's lead us down this path! Here's an example, the same family (mostly) 20 years apart, spot the inconsistencies!

@michaelffay60 @AncestryUK We have found the cM values can vary hugely, it’s really down to pot luck of what you have inherited from each parent. Ancestry is quite good at predicting the relationship, we like checking the probability list regularly. 🕵️‍♂️
