Some people are requesting an equal critique of Hamas whenever we share live footage of Israel's horrific mass slaughter of civilians, and the naked genocidal rhetoric of its politicians. They aren't disputing Israel's crimes but want to remind us that "Hamas isn't any better". But those same people consider Hamas a terror organization and Israel a legitimate democracy.
