🚀 That’s how you gain an edge in the market.
Not by guessing. Not by chasing signals.
Not by following the crowd.
By rigorous backtesting. 📊
Test your strategy across different market conditions.
Validate the edge. Measure the risk. Eliminate assumptions.
Because in trading, confidence comes from data not hope.
🎯 Backtest. Refine. Execute. Repeat.
🚨 Your phone has Face ID. Your bank account may still be at risk.
Think your money is safe because your phone has Face ID and a strong passcode? Think again.
If your phone is stolen, a thief may be able to remove your SIM card, insert it into another phone, and attempt to exploit SMS-based banking or UPI recovery processes.
Your phone’s screen lock won’t protect a SIM card that has no SIM PIN enabled.
🔐 Here’s how to add another layer of protection:
📱 iPhone: Settings → Mobile Service → SIM PIN
🤖 Android: Settings → Security or SIM settings → SIM Card Lock (the exact path varies by device).
✅ Enable the SIM PIN.
✅ Change the default PIN to a unique one.
✅ Never guess repeatedly—too many incorrect attempts can lock your SIM and require a PUK code.
⚠️ Important: A SIM PIN is an extra layer of security, not a guarantee against UPI fraud. A SIM swap alone does not automatically let someone reset your UPI PIN or drain your account.
🚨 If your phone is stolen:
• Contact your mobile operator immediately to block your SIM.
Don’t just secure your phone. Secure your SIM, too. 🔒

📈 One Mutual Fund Worth Watching
Nippon India Growth Mid Cap Fund 🚀
📊 Since inception: ~21.58% p.a.
⭐ Rating: 5★
💰 AUM: ₹52,270 Cr+
💵 Min SIP: ₹100
Why I like it:
• 30+ years of track record
• Strong long-term wealth creation history
• Exposure to India's growing mid-cap businesses
• Suitable for investors with a 7–10+ year horizon
But remember: Past returns ≠ future returns. Mid-caps can fall sharply during market corrections.
Not investment advice. Do your own research before investing.

The regulator says you need to be a SEBI Registered Research Analyst to give recommendations.
Fair enough.
I took the required exam around six months ago and cleared it.
Out of 100 questions, if I remember correctly, ONE was on technical analysis.
The other 99?
Fundamentals. Ratios. Numbers. Valuations. Things I don’t even use to make money from the markets and haven’t relied upon for years.
For clarity, I have cleared the exam. I am NOT a registered RA and I do NOT give recommendations.
But clearing that exam made me realise something.
Passing an eligibility exam does not automatically mean someone knows how to make money in the market.
Now comes the more interesting part.
I was recently approached to promote a penny stock.
I was asked to talk positively about the company and was sent a reference tweet showing me the kind of post they wanted.
That reference tweet was from a VERY big market influencer with followers running into lakhs.
And he is a SEBI Registered Research Analyst.
I outrightly refused.
I have screenshots of what I was asked to do and the reference tweet that was shared with me.
I am deliberately not naming the stock, the person who approached me or the RA. And I am not making any claim about why that RA posted it because I don’t have proof of his arrangement, if any.
I am only telling you what I can prove happened with ME.
I was approached to promote a penny stock.
And a registered RA’s existing tweet about that same stock was given to me as the reference for what they wanted me to do.
Make whatever you want of it.
My point is bigger than one stock or one person.
Please stop treating “SEBI Registered RA” as a certificate of someone’s ability to make money or their honesty.
Registration tells you that someone has fulfilled the questionable regulatory requirements to give recommendations.
It does NOT tell you whether he actually knows how to make money.
And it certainly does NOT certify his intent or integrity.
This is what happened on expiry day
Sensex 78,000 Call went from 2 to 80
Sensex 78,000 Put went from 166 to 0
Why? The indicative equilibrium price which was 78,860 till 3.28 suddenly became 79,080 at close. This is not right. This is turning option trading into gambling. At this rate, nobody will be willing to sell options.

Logic needs to be countered with logic.
They can't give vague answers like "With time it will improve"
No. It won't.
Coz the issue is structural.
We can't simply copy something without assesing suitability to our markets.
