Here’s Event Bridge in a high-load architecture
When users exchange real-time messages with each other, the diagram shows that Event Bridge acts as a bus in an event-driven architecture

What happens if we remove EB from the diagram?

We have Kafka, and in theory, other services could read messages directly from Kafka, and it would work. But then developers would need to write code to integrate the services with each other. This is the classic problem of spaghetti integration, a well-known anti-pattern
