(1) Today was the release of the #PIRLS2021 reading survey. It showed that in SA 81% of SA Gr4's cannot read in any language (up from 78%).
Of 33 countries tracking losses from 2016 to 2021 SA had the biggest decline, setting us back a decade! 😰
