It was a pleasure to interact with the dynamic leadership of FICCI FLO—Smt. Simran Sahni, Chairperson; Smt. Devanshi Seth, Senior Vice Chair; Smt. Nivedita Singh, Vice Chair; and Smt. Rachita Vyas.

Our discussion on women’s welfare was purposeful and inspiring. Together, we will work to recognise, motivate and felicitate NGOs doing meaningful work for women’s upliftment across the Lucknow SCR.

FICCI FLO will also engage with the women associated with Tara Shakti Kendras in Sarojininagar to explore new avenues of skill development, enterprise and empowerment.

When institutions, civil society and communities work together, women’s progress becomes a force for society’s progress.

गोमती नदी को लेकर हाल ही में जानकारी में आए इस शासनादेश को लेकर पर्यावरणविदों में काफी नाराजगी है। इस आदेश में गंगा की सहायक नदी गोमती को बरसाती नदी घोषित किया गया है। हाई कोर्ट समेत तक कई पुराने आदेश हैं जिनमें कहा गया है कि गोमती के फैलाव में आने वाले दोनो तरफ के सौ मीटर में कोई निर्माण नहीं होगा। अब नए आदेश में इसे पचास मीटर कर दिया गया है। आरोप हैं कि ऐसा कुछ अफसरों, नेताओं और भूमाफियाओं की मिलीभगत से हो रहा है। इस बारे में नदियों को प्यार करने वालों और पूजने वालों को सवाल करने चाहिए। वरना हिमालय से लेकर अरब सागर तक मनुष्य के लालच के दुष्परिणाम कुदरत के कहर के तौर पर हम देख ही रहे हैं। #गोमतीबचाओ
