“[I want to try to play like] Tim Stützle in Ottawa, he competes hard and he likes to talk and he’s really good offensively.” - Ivar Stenberg in 2025 vs. Ivar Stenberg yesterday scoring on Tim Stützle

@willmackupdates Our superstar is so kind

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@circlingthecup @EastCoastSJSFan @catswasteland Yes! Chances are low but you never know 🤞

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@catswasteland @circlingthecup @EastCoastSJSFan Graf would be perfect he's already beat a guy up* for Ivar

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@catswasteland @EastCoastSJSFan Also my theory based on nothing is these young guys are very aware NHL guys are faster, stronger, smarter than in their previous leagues, but muscle memory takes longer to retrain and catch up to that awareness and the most effective way to close that gap is in-game repetition

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@catswasteland @EastCoastSJSFan I am with you 5on 5 is very rough, but 95% of it is 2 green young guys who desperately need in-game experience, even though their shifts tend to range from eh ok to painful right now it's part of the process

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@catswasteland @EastCoastSJSFan This is not an overnight project by any means and if they are truly hurting the team then they have to do what they have to do, but if they can keep things on a level while figuring it out the longterm benefits for both of them have like stratospheric potential

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@catswasteland @EastCoastSJSFan I believe in keeping Stenberg and Misa together, they have so much to work on but are developmentally parallel and have such complimentary strengths, and Stenberg would benefit more imo from grinding it out with someone doing the same than being a stat padder for Celebrini

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@catswasteland @EastCoastSJSFan Kinda anxious about stenny on top line he has not proven himself in 5v5 but I think it’s inevitable and has to be tried out eventually. He’s been excellent in so many areas and def wants to do his best for mack. Nothing would make me happier than seeing him succeed there.

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@MikeBartner That was so insane it felt illegal I thought they were going to call something on him

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@tdaveniii @hockeystatcards @sharkssource I don't understand how a goal is not represented at all in the illustration of the data, I can understand it being slim but it's still a point.

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@JesseGranger_ @MarkLazerus What’s it gonna cost them?

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@BR_OpenIce @FriedgeHNIC Kings rn praying for winnipeg flight delays

[sharksmoth @DevaughnWraith]

@timsimtv @Sheng_Peng Fwiw Ottawa kept Florida to 1 shot for the last ~17:48 of the game the night before and that’s when they were ahead. 100% Sharks were horrible felt like an 18 min PPK they have to improve finishing, but not for nothing this seems to be something Sens are especially good at.
