@MikeBartner Robo With Celebrini... is it worth giving away what could be Stenberg and Rudolph/Smits/Verhoeff.
For that much if a cap hit I just don't think so.
Watching the world cup and seeing grown men flop around the floor after the tiniest bump just makes me cringe so much. Why would you want to do this and look like a loser. Get up, Toughen up and get on with the game.
@ProfHockeyYT Makes the trade look different now - grier wanted byram for eklund basically. Got outdone by the hawks.
Was plan B to just use the pick. We will have to wait and see
Remember when William Eklund scored a hat trick, on hat day, to beat the Blues? It was April 6, 2024.
Collin Graf is the only player on that team still with the Sharks
@brennanjerrry Ive loved watching his development and was a massive fan of him. He was dominant on the OHL playoffs and his shot is gross. Played well for the Cuda as well.
Damn. This would have been an amazing add really for assets that are just extras.
Suddenly you have
Bryam ...
Dickinson Kesslering
Orlov ...
With guys like Mukhamadullin, Cagnoni and Pohlkamp fighting for a spot.
@tgtatro@frank_seravalli I think it might be you who has no idea mate. You have Korchinksi, Rinzel, Levshunov, Vlasic already... you had the chance to add Reid or Carels who are going to be very good, instead you get Byram... rumoured to want 10-12 per year. And you also gave up a second rounder.
@CelebriniBetter A risky trade.
But eklund is not Griers guy. A Wilson pick. But eklund is a known nhl commodity. He is going to be very good. 9th overall gets Grier the player he wants but at the risk that they might not develop or might not get the guy he wants.
