I'm more neutral about AI than most people. There are other people that are better than me to discuss the pros and cons on the topic. However, I have somewhat of a spicy take on this one, specifically. 🌶

Years ago I had the pleasure to meet some of the people behind @Minecraft and this strikes me as something that goes directly against what they had (or still have?) in mind: it removes a major pillar of the game - the creative process itself as well as an easily understandable formula: your effort leads to result. One block. Since there is no real automation, you as a player understand the incredible effort that went into making a creation happen when you see it.

The value of the creation is consequently measurable by effort. Using AI tools in order to create shortcuts for this process undermines the effort - and all of a sudden there's nothing of value left.

So why play or create in the first place? I understand this is only available for private servers on the Java version... but man. Sometimes because you can, doesn't mean you should. Makes me definitely thoughtful. 🤔
