I've been thinking and saying this for the longest time, every single year when pool-related topics start popping up in my feed, but seriously, is it really normal in this world to not feel that much discomfort about peeing in the pool? Am I the only weirdo here? What's up with those occasional opinions like, "Sure, it's not supposed to happen on paper, but oh well, it can't be helped, right?" That's just straight-up insane, isn't it?..

Well, putting that aside!

It's undeniable that letting someone get up on stage right in front of our eyes was a lapse in the organizers' security perspective, so on that front, I think it's perfectly fine to heap on the criticism and demand improvements.

And for the people who calmly and precisely handled the unexpected situation to bring things to a close, I think it's great to shower them with unstinting praise!..

My Dad did the same, I had to figure out he got cancer on my own (there were signs) It’s probably because parents don’t want their kids to suffer with them, or atleast that what I told myself back when I wasn’t able to cope with the pain, I don’t know you or your relationship.1/2..

I completely agree with what the chairman said.
I realized that it wasn't a case of "I'm glad it didn't turn into a big deal," but rather that the organizers deliberately acted in a way to prevent it from becoming a big deal (after closely monitoring the situation).
If the staff had rushed in there all at once and caused a commotion, that would have been even worse.
It probably would have made the online news too.

It's great when well-known people mention it in an easy-to-understand way, as it helps spread the word to those who don't know about it.

I think you should work hard to solve issues like environments where anyone can just join, or problems where security doesn't kick in when something goes wrong...

Even in Simon & Garfunkel's Central Park concert, it was completely cut out, and streaking that disrupts sports matches is absolutely never shown on TV.
They don't show it, they don't let it be reported. Making it "as if it never happened" is the most effective way to handle it...
