@KyleJoh76251759@skilly_gilly @squirtlewgrillz @SharpFootball Took 2 years to build. And play calling goes into it too. Why TF was the LG TE Rd and wr all motioning to the right? LG pull on a pass play? Unhinged behavior.
@elementzemcee@TWillyMW@SharpFootball Not really. We can point to countless times where a guy has weapons his rookie season and has success. Ryan, flacco Watson Herbert, Lamar. My point was all the guys on this list didn't have weapons or protection. No shit they end up on a negative light.
@jubgpodcast @SharpFootball A waste of a rookie contract. With the way they are getting paid gotta find their strength and weakness immediately. Then build and try to improve them.
@ufollow_me_now5@SharpFootball None but at least he's been there. Top ten in passing TD and top 5 in yards I believe. A generally successful career. None of these guys listed even scratch what Matt Ryan has done but they haven't been given the tools to have a fair assessment
@SharpFootball Team brought in Michael Turner, revamped the line, Roddy White in place. Next year they get Tony G. 2 years after, Julio. 4 years after he's drafted they are up (๐) in NFC champ game. These days GMs draft a guy then go get a DE with the next pick ๐
@SharpFootball How many of these guys had to play with suppar lines that year and a serious lack of weapons? Almost all of them. GMs continually draft a QB then don't provide them any protection or weapons. The best example of how to get the best from your rookie QB is Matt Ryan.
@ATLWill_ 2 seconds after the snap the RT is 5 yards behind the LOS with his back to it. Looks like a designed rb slip screen but you can't run that in your own end zone. Instead of engaging, the RG shadows #7 so he ends up making a play on the ball.
@ATLWill_ Idk why you even included this one. Chi ran a screen to the left, snap is high and to the right. JF1 is tryna quick throw that ball left and already had his body starting that way when it's snapped.
@ATLWill_ Int is the WRs fault. He kept moving parallel towards side line instead of back towards the ball. The DB came from behind him and caught the ball in front of him. Didn't attack the catch point.
@ATLWill_ Nothing wrong with this play. He was trying to push the ball down field and missed wide. But the ball only could be caught by his guy and gave him a chance to make a play.
@ATLWill_ Next play . Why are Two WRs running crossing routes within a literal yard of each other? That's JF1 first read! There's a LB DJ Moore about to run into so he settles down. I will say JF1 should have found the check down to the RB faster but still... No layering concept. No space
@ATLWill_ Next play . A 1 man screen. Fine. But why is the blocker not attacking the DB at the LOS? Instead he meet him 3 yards closer. And then the RB slows on the route he should have been able to catch that on the run.
@ATLWill_ ... at least criticize the play calling too. Why TF is the LG, RB, WR and TE all running/motioning to same side of field? The LG pulling on a pass play?!?!? The DE on that side got a free release. That is some Authur smith next level cluster fuck routes.
Falcons front office talking bout wanting to be "aggressive" in getting a QB but BSing on JF1 to entertain Kirk Cousins as if we haven't seen his ceiling yet is the most Falcon thing ever. When the guy is the 3rd option of what fans want, don't be surprised at a empty stadium
The idea that the #Falcons should sign Kirk Cousins over Justin Fields due to "system fit" or "winning rn" is wild.thats like If Lamar Jackson was available for a 2nd round pick you'd prefer Jared Goff (least Goff has been to a Superbowl)Kirk starts year on PUP and you waste a yr
Another advantage of JF1 is players want to play with him, which will help in FA. Former players turnt analysts wants him on a team with weapons, current teammates don't want him to go. Hell put more butts in seats in the Benz than Kirk will. #Falcons
Kirk Cousins to the Falcons never made sense. Wants $40m/yr, 36, coming off an Achilles injury in week 8? Hed start season on PUP list at a cost of 2.35m/ per missed game. Might as well get Matt Ryan back. Least he had a connect with Pitts. Trade for Fields. Draft Verse. #Falcons
