Things the media has been silent about:
Cp3 having the best shooting game in NBA history in a close out playoff game
Devin Booker scoring 31 pts and 7 threes in ONE HALF of a game.
Deandre Ayton shooting 70% (!!!!) while averaging 21 and 10 and almost NEVER dunking
They didn't give Wemby a flagrant because then they would've had to give 2 to Josh Hart for kicking at Kornet's knees while also suspending OG, Alvarado, and Clarkson for leaving the bench this was the NBA being fair
Luke Kornet was trying to grab the ball after the made basket, while Hart was trying to hold it up to prevent the Spurs from inbounding quickly and pushing the tempo. The Knicks have been doing this all series.
It’s so funny that Twitter literally had to bully the NBA into making the Finals feel like the Finals again. Trophy and logo on court. National anthem. Starting lineup intros. This is how it should always be.
It’s crazy to think that if Tyrese Haliburton doesn’t tear his achilies there is a very real chance that the Thunder are sitting here right now with zero championships after two historic regular seasons. Imagine the conversations then.
Won a game 7 just last year where the BEST player for the other team went down as soon as the game started. Coming off a series win not having to play the best player at all, who also happens to be the best scorer in the league. Stay humble fam.
Chet Holmgren has spent his entire life as the tall, lanky phenom basketball player who can also dribble and shoot.
Suddenly Wemby comes along and makes him seem like a generic brand knockoff. I’d be having an existential identity crisis.
