I have a friend who is on the Autism spectrum and currently attends a school designed for students with learning challenges. In high school, he began taking private piano lessons and appeared to greatly enjoy them and enjoy the private learning environment. #jmumustech (1/2)

Something cool about what's happening right now is that I am exploring ways to better record my music! I would not have been pursuing this otherwise and I am learning more about music technology. My dad is home with me so I can get help from him too :)

@BenCoat61990738 Something we did in my high school theory class that I thought was fun was that we had a project to create a piece of music using a digital notation software (if we wanted, or handwrite it) but we were supposed to do it at home. That way, everyone could work at their own pace.

@link_megan In my opinion, sometimes technology in music education can reduce the interpersonal atmosphere that is a huge part of traditional music education and ensembles. In my experience, collaboration with music technology is very difficult and often leads to just working on your own.
