This helps. This is why I chose a different photo. We need to trick the algorithm so a comment like this is a blessing for our collection.
Here is another great photo, along with what Iโm promoting today to advocate for the 91st defenders.

I donโt think conservatives realize how much Russian propaganda we have been fed over the last few years as โindependent journalismโ.
Itโs starting to become very clear to me how many people who claimed to be defenders of the West were just saying that to suck in a pro-West audience so they could slowly brainwash them with foreign propaganda until they could convince their viewers to work against the West.
Those โinterviewsโ we all defended were not actually interviews. They were psychological operations meant to weaponize political factions in America for the purpose of pushing foreign interests.
And many of us fell for it because we let our anger with the system get the best of us and we decided to trust personalities who have never been honest about who they are and where they come from.
Iโm starting to think the entire podcast ecosystem is and always has been on giant psychological and information warfare operation.
Criminals and terrorists no longer need billions of dollars for weapons and aircraft. They just need an influencer and podcast budget to create more damage to our society than high powered weapons.
I hope the DOJ will investigate all of this.
Itโs a shame so many false accusations of Russian collusion were spread over the last 10 years as a way to smear Donald Trump and his allies with lies, because now that actual Russian interference is here in our media and on social media, nobody believes itโs real.
Itโs starting to get very creepy just how coordinated, organized and well funded this OPP is.
Kharkiv Region: As a result of a Russian attack, two people were killed and six others were injured, including a 17-year-old boy. In the village of Rokytne, a private home caught fire, while several agricultural buildings were damaged.
Sadly, three children have been left without their mother...
We have received heartbreaking news: in the Zaporizhzhia region, brave defender Olena Kviatkovska was killed as a result of an enemy attack. ๐๐ฏ๏ธ
Our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, and all who knew her.
May her memory be eternal. ๐บ๐ฆ๐ฏ๏ธ

โผ๏ธHappening now: Today and tomorrow, the House may vote on the Ukraine Support Act (H.R. 2913).
The bill was brought to the floor through a discharge petition: a procedure in the U.S. House of Representatives that allows a majority of members to force a bill out of committee and bring it to the floor, even if House leadership does not want to advance it.
218 members (a majority of the full House) have already signed this petition, and the bill can now be discharged from committee and brought to the floor for consideration.
This discharge petition was led by @RepGregoryMeeks (D), @RepDonBacon (R), and @RepBrianFitz (R) .
Under this process, the first vote is the motion to discharge, followed by a rules vote. The rule determines whether the House can proceed to consider the bill for final passage. Only after that comes the final passage vote. So there will be three votes in total, and the third is final.
For the bill to pass, it needs a simple majority. Including vacancies, the current absolute majority threshold is at least 216.
At this point, it is not likely that all votes will happen today, as voting is already delayed.
The Ukraine Support Act (H.R. 2913) strengthens Ukraineโs defense, tightens sanctions on Russia, and supports diplomatic efforts to return abducted Ukrainian children.

UPDATE ON PROJECT EDEN:
https://t.co/kxCjZ2WNtq
I apologize to everyone for the long silence.
Moving a large group of non-combatants - members of my extended family - halfway across the world has been logistically quite challenging, to say the least.๐
Besides our people - mostly children and old people - we've also moved our family library of thousands of books (though, unfortunately, some Ukrainian books have STILL been left behind, because they are now in areas near the front line made inaccessible by russian drones... left in abandoned buildings, these books may be considered lost).
Remarkably, however, we have managed to do all this without significant financial resources - the kindness and generosity of our Asian partners has made this possible.
---
CHALLENGES IN 'A NEW WORLD':
While there's the absolute and undoubted advantage of peaceful skies, and the knowledge that the children are safe, there are challenges to be dealt with here.
We've essentially had to build our infrastructure from scratch for basic necessities like water and power.
So we've drilled an artesian well and set up a molecular-level membrane filter to make sure our water is completely safe. We are running on solar power, and the internet is holding up well so far.
We planned on using Starlink, but geographical restrictions have blocked it for now. We're working on lifting those limits, but in the meantime, local providers are keeping us online.
At the moment, everyone is housed in comfortable but temporary accommodations, while we begin construction on something more permanent.
Most importantly of all, people are safe both from russia's genocidal drone strikes, and from their attempts to freeze us every winter.
---
A PERMANENT BASE FOR THE CENTURIES TO COME:
Yes, I did say centuries.
While the people here will return to Ukraine after the war, this base is going to be maintained so long as russia exists... at the very least.
I WILL have a refuge for our people far from russia's reach.
Our Asian friends have given us part of an entire mountain. We have a portion of the top of the mountain and the entire side of the mountain, and we're building a base at the top.
Ukrainian Architecture:
Incidentally, if possible, we're going to make the architecture distinctly Ukrainian - that should be interesting... Ukrainian architecture in the heart of Asia.
I'll put up some sketches or 3D recreations as soon as designs are finalized.
---
WORKING FOR ORGANIZATIONS IN UKRAINE
To provide for everyday expenses, most of the adults who have made this move still work for organizations in Ukraine.
I have also successfully restarted our educational program for children, transitioning it entirely online to adapt to our new environment.
So things are relatively stable.
---
A SMALL WORLD...
Although our family is now distributed worldwide, with some fighting on the front lines in Ukraine, and some supporting them, and people working in drone manufacture... and the non-combatants over here and those who are looking after them, it's actually as if we're all still together in one place.
We have a private Facebook channel where we all talk and joke together, even the lads on the front, from time to time.
It's a small world.
Even smaller than most people would believe.
And we've come to learn that most of humanity are beings of humanity.
Tyranny and oppression are the aberration.
Kindness, generosity to those in need - this is humanity's way.
And that is why it is critical that the ethical and humane majority should NEVER let the bullying, brutal minority win - in ANY nation.
And that applies whether the tyrant is Putin... or the now-defunct Orban... or the would-be tyrant of America.
As an update on this, my Uncle Valera actually remained behind even after this, but finally moved away after a shop nearby was flattened by artillery.
He was the last to leave. He now lives in Cherkasy.
Uncle Valera was questioned and tortured by the russians during their occupation of the region.

MEDICAL UPDATE:
An update on the condition of my nephew Vlad of the 47th, injured in combat.
He has nerve damage in his leg, which is affecting the use of his limb - he's receiving therapy for the same.
For the moment, he is out of the fight.

I debated sharing but don't think I'd be true to myself if I didn't. Last week, I lost my mom after a lifelong struggle with addiction & mental health ๐ She was only 56 years old. Despite all the challenges she faced, one of the most important things she taught me was to care about people & to speak up for what I believe in, even when it's easier not to. That lesson is a big part of why I care so deeply about Ukraine, why I'm a public school teacher, and why I stand so strongly against cruelty, oppression, and indifference.
My mom was more than her mental illness and addiction. She was a compassionate, deeply human person who helped shape the woman I've become today. I just hope I can make her and my dad proud up there โค๏ธ
