NEW: The Ford government is going to fight the premier’s summons in court. The province believes “the summons are inconsistent with the members’ parliamentary privilege.”
BREAKING: Premier Doug Ford has been issued a summons to testify at the Ottawa inquiry into the use of the emergencies act. A letter from the commission says both Ford + Jones have refused multiple requests to be interviewed by the Commission + invite to testify voluntarily.
