Grad student forward Devin Tillis says he transferred to UVA to play in the NCAA tournament. He shot almost 54% from the field last season at UC Irvine. He gives the 'Hoos scoring and experience.
UC Irvine’s Devin Tillis has entered the transfer portal, as a grad transfer.
The 6’6” forward started all 38 games, averaging 13.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. Tillis shot 40% from 3 (49/124).
Earned All-Big West Second Team honors
Devin Tillis played four years, but missed the 2021-22 season so he has another year with the COVID grad.
Awesome glue guy. Key piece to one of the best defensive teams in the nation. Strong as hell, really solid passer and averaged 13 ppg. Winning player.

Tillis began his career at UNLV before playing the last three seasons at UC Irvine. He’s a native of Los Angeles, California.
He averaged 13.7PPG, 7.8RPG and 2.4APG this season.
