Only for those who have a lot of disposable money. And it’s not like these new products make the older products much cheaper. A several generations old computer from apple would cost me more to buy USED than building a NEW PC. That’s my key takeaway from these #AppleEvent lately.
I wish @Apple would recognize that most of us can’t afford $2-3k+ for a decent computer/monitor. Why isnt there a sub$1k monitor from them? Or even a sub$1k laptop? I understand the value of components and the features etc. making these products work $3k+, but-
In a world where building PCs is becoming more and more accessible and a *great* PC can be built for ~$1k, it’s kinda inexcusable to me that we can’t get something comparable running with apple silicone/software. They keep pushing up and up and doing great things, but-
@MakeSouls Most games with an open world aren’t truly non linear like BOTW. You could go off and do whatever you want, but you can’t beat the game without doing things a certain way. BOTW changes that. Stop hating on an objectively great game just because it’s popular to hate on it
@MakeSouls Everyone knows it isn’t the first open world game. It set a new standard for what we want out of an open world though. You aren’t forced to play the main story a certain way or in any order, you aren’t penalized for doing/not doing stuff, it’s just a challenge
@SketchedBat Ledger, Joker, and the good qualities of that movie without saying everything else is crap. If you want to criticize Batman himself or another actor or the movie as a whole, do that, but if the argument depends on removing an integral piece, it’s not a valid argument.
@SketchedBat Yes, every character in it is amazing and it’s a near perfect movie for me, but you can’t just casually “take out” a main character. It’d be like taking Voldemort out of Harry Potter. You just can’t, and it’s stupid to even discuss. You’re allowed to compliment-
@KaSyl_Personal @hausofviccc@lukeygatinho@Gr4deEQuality Wtf are you talking about, that suit does not look even slightly pink. Also, the point of the scene is they were literally attacked by aliens, wreaking havoc. Look at the opening scene, or most of Endgame. The colors were phenomenal in those movies.
@McDonalds literally served us sweet tea that was made with coffee…like it came out of the tea dispenser but smells and tastes like coffee with sugar added. Wtf
@levidu99@aprilfunko I might be remembering it wrong. I know it wasn’t a sudden “oh hey let’s scrap an entire script” but more of a “we have one idea, here’s a better one, if we can make it work” and then they made it work.
@levidu99@aprilfunko Pretty sure someone said that they wanted to do a multiverse thing, but didn’t know if they could pull it off, so planned something else until they could proceed. It honestly sounds like they had two ideas, and went with the better one. Happens all the time.
@levidu99 @Calabrisme @aprilfunko Not really. Stark was the only one with any real knowledge of Peter Parker besides “New York kid” so other people will just not know his name, but still know what they did with Spider-Man. It doesn’t count as a retcon if you make some of your own characters forget it, but not all
@DiscussingFilm Not everyone wants some philosophical, pretentious piece of art every time they watch a movie. I love a good, original movie, but that doesn’t make Spider-Man or Batman movies bad. If you make a good movie people will watch it so stop worrying about what the other guys doing.
@fletchsfc @franco_fury@SYACVG Games from 5 years ago have incredible graphics and run flawlessly on the switch. The poor graphics are literally made that way because they didn’t put the effort in, whether it be due to time constraints or laziness. The switch can run games a lot smoother than it’s credited
