In Franklin, houses and roads are very spread out which is low-density housing. In the city of Milwaukee, houses and roads are very close together, known as a very high-density area. #franklinlorax#apesland
#apesland this is a plant and this plant takes nutrients from the soil to help it grow and stay alive. It also needs a certain type of soil so it can have the best chance of growing. @franklinlorax
This is a plant my parents got a week ago. It is consisted of flowers that need fertilizer to grow. The soil also contains clay pebbles that absorb excess water. @franklinlorax#apesland

A lot of people in the world like to eat meat. I eat meat almost daily. This increases my ecological footprint, using more of Earth's resources. I need to eat more unprocessed and locally grown food to reduce my ecological footprint. @franklinlorax#apespop
This is my cat Marty. He's a K-strategist. Cats are K strategists because they tend to have a small litter of kittens that they care for until they can live on their own! #apesecology@franklinlorax

Impervious surfaces cause runoff and runoff runs into rivers sometimes those thing it picks up can be bad things which can contaminate the water which leads to problems with habitats and many other things. @franklinlorax#apeswater
I love being able to drink clean water from the water fountain. Thanks for the Oak Creek water treatment plant that helps purify the water we get from lake Michigan. This gets rid of harmful chemicals like lead so we don't end up like Flint Michigan.

@CooperMueller14 Great job Cooper for using a reusable water bottle instead of plastic ones. I agree that it helps the environment as the plastic may end up in landfills.
