Reported wildfires across the U.S. grew by 2,936 acres from yesterday to today. About 68% of this increase is from a fire in South Dakota called Highway 20, which was discovered a few days ago, but showed up in the data today. Three new small fires were reported in AZ.

Wildfires across the U.S. grew by 245 acres from yesterday to today. About 98% of this growth came from the Ponina Fire in Oregon, which was 1,641 acres as of this morning.
