@ScottRRocco A16: I can show students how social media can be used to find new information and to learn in new ways. I also can show my students the dangers of social media and how it can lead to bullying and later in life issues like not being able to get a job due to it. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A15: This means that instead of just consuming information students question the information and where it is coming from instead of automatically believing it. I do think this is possible if you teach students to think this way. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A14: It is important for students to learn these skills because social media is such a huge part of our world today and it is not going anywhere anytime soon. I also think these skills can help with social skills like when it comes to cyber bullying. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A13: I can move on by trying to create other, more positive posts, and I can also move on by just trying to do a mental reset and take a break from social media because sometimes.. It can be so toxic! #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A12: Itis better to talk in person because sometimes over the internet words can be read wrong and interpreted wrong and people may think you are saying something offensive when in reality that is not what you meant. Low tech is good because you can just keep to yourself. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A11: I would use this strategy by deciding what in my classroom is appropriate to post and what can be left out of social media. I also would use this method to figure out what is important to post about and information to know and what is not as important. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A10: I will make sure that after each ending activity I have my students complete like independent work, I will make them work on some of their skills on the computer so that I am building technology into our daily routine. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A9: This is an important question to ask because students need to be able to build their SEL and collaborate effectively as that Is an important life skill. This is a common practice In the work force so the sooner students can practice this skill the better. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A8: This question is important because teachers need to make sure that students are understanding the content they are learning as well as a way for students to show what they have learned. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A7: The author suggested this because having students use only a handful of tools in the classroom just helps everyone to stay organized and not get confused or overwhelmed with too many resources. This also helps teachers to stay organized and track students progress. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A6: The author is just saying that cauliflower has been imagined in a variety of different ways in the same aspect as technology in the classroom can be used in many different ways. #TEC207
@kangelucci7@ScottRRocco I disagree that edtech is not beneficial to use. I do not think that students must use it as much as they do today, however I do think there are many helpful academic tools out there to help students grow in ALL subjects especially ones they may be struggling in. #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A5: I will implement edtech choice in my classroom by allowing students some sort of choice when they are expected to use their technology resources. I will give my students as many opportunities as they wish to use these resources as much as possible. #TEC207
@feinerja@ScottRRocco I agree that one of the most important parts of utilizing technology in the classroom is making sure that all students know how to use the technology to the best of their ability so they have the best opportunity to learn! #TEC207
@ScottRRocco A4: Accessibility is important with technology in the classroom because all students need to be able to effectively use the technology and need to understand how it works and how it is helping them to better their skills. #TEC207
@LexiThompson05@ScottRRocco I agree. But I also think the beliefs you have as an educator have a lot to do with how much technology you implement and how you let your students use that technology #TEC207
@ScottRRocco The individual beliefs of an educator is very important to how technology is used in the classroom. Some educators think it is ok to use technology in a fun and sometimes non-acedmic way while others think technology should only be used for school purposes. #TEC207
