Our 1959 Leyland Atlantean 872 ATA made its public debut under our ownership at the Taunton Vintage Bus Day on 31 May 2026. It's seen here at the Rumwell Farm Shop, between Wellington and Taunton, in company with our 1965 AEC Regent V CTT 513C.

Our 1965 Park Royal-bodied AEC Regent V CTT 513C is seen at Poundbury during the WHOTT Dorchester running day in 2018.
513 will be taking part in the TV&GWOT Taunton Vintage Bus Day today (31/5/26), along with our Leyland Atlantean 872 ATA.

1959 Metro Cammell-bodied Leyland Atlantean 872 ATA will be making its running day debut under our ownership at the Taunton Vintage Bus Day on 31/5/26.

Preserved 'Sea Dog' Leyland Atlantean 932 GTA 'Earl Howe' is seen leaving Oldway Mansion in Paignton in June 1998. The occasion was the 3rd Torbay Classic Bus & Coach Gathering and it was operating a free service to Broadsands.

Our 1957 Weymann-bodied AEC Reliance VDV 798 is pictured at The Square in Chagford on 15/6/25, whilst operating the annual Devon General Society members' tour.
798's first outing this year will be to the South Molton Vintage Rally on 30/5/26.

A view of Park Royal-bodied AEC Regent V CTT 513C posed in the entrance to Sidmouth depot during the 'Regent Finale' enthusiasts' tour on 23rd August 1980. These days, 513 is preserved in its original livery and is part of the DGOT collection.

Our 1937/53 Saunders Roe-bodied AEC 'Light Six' Rebuild ETT 995 is seen at Highweek Way in Newton Abbot on 3/9/23, during the 'Devon General Remembered' running day. The event is back here again on 6/9/26, & buses from our collection will taking part.

Seen at Exeter Bus Station, 871 ATA was a Willowbrook-bodied AEC Reliance, the last of a batch of twelve (SR860-871) delivered in 1959. 871 received NBC poppy red livery in 1974 and was scrapped at Torquay depot in 1977.

The latest bus to join our collection is 1977 convertible open-top Bristol VRT VDV 137S 'Victory'. We acquired it from WHOTT in 2025.

We are keen to reinstate 872 ATA's original dual destination blind display, but we need to source or re-make some components, so as a short-term measure, we have fixed two original destination blinds in place to give a visually authentic appearance.

1958 Willowbrook 'Viking' - bodied AEC Reliance XDV 859 is seen at Exeter Paris Street bus station. It passed to Greenslades Tours in 1966 and remained with them until 1969.

All 8 buses in our collection have had their annual inspections, including 1959 Leyland Atlantean 872 ATA. We have temporarily removed 872's destination blind equipment to see if we can reinstate the dual destination display it carried originally.

Long before they joined our collection, preserved AEC Regent Vs VDV 817 and CTT 513C are seen taking part in the May 1984 Exeter - Paignton - Torquay road run that helped to celebrate Devon General's 65th anniversary.

Pictured at the top of Paris Street in Exeter is Weymann-bodied AEC Regent V 949 HTT, one of seven open-platform Regent Vs delivered for Exeter city services in 1962.
These were Devon General's last rear-entrance buses bought new.
