@KellyCrandall It'd be different if every year was an awesome race at Indy then this car came along, but it never was. It's always been a strategy race with single file driving and some passing here and there.
@jeff_gluck I've been browsing races back through the years, they all look really similar to yesterday. Indy just doesn't and hasn't ever put on much of a passing, high track action race.
@Calm_InChaos@JohnHayesOnAir Chevy body, manufacturers investment into the sport(Toyota investing, Ford and Chevy are not) teams sharing data(more cars/teams working together, Chevy and Ford are primarily every team for themselves). Also, Reddicks wins are mainly luck/right place, right time, not speed.
@AlexShowman48@bobpockrass Jr asked on TV if it was the 25 and Rick just sorta giggled and say that announcement is coming soon, but the way everyone acted...it's the 25
@William02887871@jeff_gluck The last race here in 1996 had 11 cars on the lead lap. Take that pit stop caution out you can probably say everyone 2 laps down would be 1 down. That was 11th. So really lead lap cars nothing different than 1996
@jeff_gluck Everyone wants the old school races back until there actually a race that one driver dominates and there's 5 cars on the lead lap like it was back then
@Jordan_Bianchi Sounds like the rule isn't gaining position by number like going from 5th to 4th but just gaining ground on another driver. Which should be clarified better in the wording of the rule. Saying position makes it sound like you gotta gain spots like 5th to 4th.
@MattWeaverRA I think Ty is running where they are car/team wise. AJ is running where he is from being experienced. Because even when they had OEM support, they were running the same the past 2 seasons even with Hemric in 24
@CheryMy@HarvickHappyPod@kaitlynvincie@MambaSmith34 I'm saying he hasn't wrecked anyone in a 1v1 battle where it was like Larson, Elliott, Blaney, or someone else with tons of fans, where it was the big/main story. This is a restart and he took out Bell. Does Bell even have fans?
@TravisRockhold I was so irritated with all the media saying nobody can catch Reddick. Everyone forgets this sport has ups and downs and nobody is up for very long. Last year Bell won 3 in a row early and by summer you wouldn't have known because he was down.
@jeff_gluck It's been doing that since very early in the season for me, I've voted no on 2 I wanted yes for because No is the top choice. So the races this season may have more Yes votes than what the polls show because of this.
@MambaSmith34 This is what NASCAR has been missing for years, drivers with personalities and not being afraid to let loose and having fun. Teams telling the drivers how to act and what to say and when to say it is awful.
