A herd of 12 nos. of elephant consisting of 2 tuskers, 5 calfs, 5 female migrated to Boudh from Athmallik Forest Division on 01.03.2026. On 2nd March one elephant has given birth to one baby elephant at Balasinga Plantation Site due to availability of good fodder species, bamboo.

34 No. of Sal logs along with one axe, one saw have been seized in Badmal village of Brahmanipali Beat of Khajuripada Section of Boudh Range under the leadership of Ms. Archana Gomango, ACF I/c - Boudh Range. Three accused have been arrested & forwarded to the SDJM, Boudh.

A herd of 08 elephants from Subarnapur Division has reached the Dambarugarh Eco-Tourism crossing one segment of river Mahanadi. Forest officials are alert for tracking the movement. Locals are advised to stay at a bay for safety.
