@27mirror Nonsense. Each person makes their own choices. Stop the false narratives about beauty. We carry our own beauty and comfort. These articles (and the ones telling us how to decorate our homes) are pure commercialism to sell new products.

@ProfBrettWilson @adamkotsko I agree with you! We forget that those tests are dip sticks to gauge the depth of skill and understanding. In depth, substantive, interactive reading rather than test prep will achieve test success and more importantly create true readers. Rethink the purpose of testing!

@heymrsbond There is something called a 7 year itch as an educator. Pretty much know your stuff; you know your content and have developed some pedagogy. Usually classroom management is decent as well. Time to renew a personal focus. Where so you want to grow? Don’t stagnate!

@heymrsbond Totally disrespectful of children. Gets loud in the lunchroom; they are trying to talk across big tables; ambient noise just goes up naturally. Like in a restaurant! And they are happy to relax and chat. Some do yell on purpose; acting out or sensory…address that as needed.
