We investigated TERT/CLPTM1L methylation and gene expression in cervical cancer and identified 8 CpGs in TERT linked to known CC GWAS SNPs.
Protective rare alleles of 2 SNPs correlated with lower #CLPTM1L and #TERT, this effect was lost in #HPV+ tissues.
