This was my first time contesting in a lc biweekly contest and it is safe to say that I cracked 3/4 questions on my first try. PS - the questions were a bit easy : )
i have a theory about God i talk about all the time
He knows He can’t reach everyone through the same methods, so He meets you in a way you can understand
if you’re naturally funny, He puts you in situations that, in hindsight, are so absurd you can’t help but laugh
if you’re analytical, He shows up as patterns. coincidences that line up too cleanly to ignore
if you’re emotional, He reaches you through love and loss. through people who break you open and show you what mattered
if you’re a skeptic, He lives in the questions that won’t leave you alone
God isn’t broadcasting on one frequency and blaming people for not tuning in
He’s speaking the language you already understand
and if you ever stop long enough to listen, you realize He’s been talking to you the entire time
Yall hopppp off them computers just for couple hours calll the gang go outside.
Hit the wooods
Throw a house a function
Take that whip on road trip
Call Maria and get drunk
And hit back flippppppppps
Created an image classifier using MobileNetV2 fine tuned on the CIFAR-10 ds. This is the first iteration, so expect some clankiness : )
PS - I used render free tier, hence the server might take some to initialize.

Been on and off for some days, but right now I feel better than where I started. Ive been working on a project (a simple one) I will share within EOD and been putting in the work in the gym.
Day 1 of getting serious about academics. Having Deep Learning paper in less than 8 hours and I have covered only a unit or so. Guess I'll be doing bad for the first few days, eventually I'll be able to get back on my feet and be more productive. My bio defines everything :)

oh, you're already behind the curve. people your age with your skills are miles ahead. you're so far back, it almost feels pointless to even try, right? wrong. this is when you move. this is when you fight. you don't get to quit because you started behind. you use your skills. let every rep, every late night, every failure turn a step forward. because the truth is, you're not competing with them, you're competing with you. and if you stay down, you won't catch up. but you can still win.
> be me, Intel
> world domination status: achieved
> have a license to print money with x86
> life is good
> be 2007, some fruit company named Apple shows up
> "hey can you make a chip for our new phone?"
> my CFO brain activates
> look at their offer... pathetic
> my margins! my beautiful margins!
> "lmao no," I tell them, "get that low volume, low margin peasant shit out of my office"
> tell them to go bother some Korean foundry
> they call it the "iPhone"
> it only sells, like, a bazillion units
> oops.mp4
> should have listened to my gut, but my gut was too busy counting shareholder dividends
> speaking of shareholders
> CEO is now a finance bro
> innovation is for nerds, stock buybacks are for chads
> spend $36 billion to make line go up
> R&D? how about R&Buyback
> TSMC and Samsung are building fabs? cute.
> we're building value for our shareholders
> meanwhile, in the basement...
> be AMD, literally on life support
> selling their HQ to pay the rent
> "hey guys what if we made a good CPU for once?"
> entire Intel leadership room dies of laughter
> we're still milking 14nm++++ for the fifth year in a row
> what are they gonna do, beat us with... checks notes... core count and efficiency?
> HQ focused on PPT presentations and buybacks
> R&D team: "hey we have this 10nm design but it's kinda... impossible to manufacture?"
> me: "JUST MAKE IT WORK, I HAVE A DIVIDEND TO ANNOUNCE"
> requirement: quadruple the transistor density, tooling: from the stone age, yield: literally negative
> "10nm is fine, everything is fine" for five years
> entire company is stuck on 14nm++++++++
> watching AMD just call TSMC and get a shiny new 7nm node like it's nothing
> suddenly, AMD's "Zen" thing is actually good
> gamers and redditors are calling me a "dead company walking"
> my stock is in freefall
> panic.jpg
> hire back Based Pat Gelsinger to save us
> Pat comes in: "what in the goddamn..."
> find out we're now outsourcing our own chips to TSMC
> mfw we missed mobile, lost the process lead, got rekt by AMD, and our grand plan is to ask the government for money
> mfw we're now a fabless fab with an identity crisis
> mfw the once-proud "Intel Inside" is now "TSMC Inside"
> at least the shareholders had some good quarters

I miss the old ML, linear-regressed ML
Straight from the books ML, EM algorithm ML
I hate the new ML, black-boxy huge ML
Trillion-param brute ML, nobody can debug ML
I miss the sweet ML, SVMs elite ML
I gotta say, at that time I’d grid and still compete ML
See I first loved ML, gradient-descent ML
Now it’s LLM all day, GPU rent ML
I used to trust ML, I used to code ML
I even had a Jupyter, I thought I was ML
