Delighted to have spoken at @WRIIndia’s Connect Karo 2024 on the Role of States in India’s Energy Transition.
Achieving India’s ambitious goal of energy independence by 2047 as set by PM @NarendraModi will rely heavily on the states as they drive our clean energy ambitions.
India’s efforts to promote various technologies-solar, wind, green hydrogen are building a resilient and decentralized energy system.
The opportunities for states to build on this momentum are
vast—whether through enhancing transmission infrastructure, expanding solar pump initiatives, or enhancing energy storage capabilities.
