But I never heard an investor complain of being asked for money by the government. Credit where it's due: the DMK government ran a clean and professional investment process and that deserves appreciation.

Here is a fascinating example of how skill development scheme of Government of Tamil Nadu - Naan Mudhalvan Scheme championed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru. @mkstalin avargal is transforming the learning experience of our college students in the state.

A regional HR Manager from India Mart describing the technical depth that a graduate had during the interview process for Software Development Engineer - 1 position.

What was striking to the interviewing team was the solid technical knowledge that the graduate had due to the project experience of his in Chennai MRTS (Mass Rapid Transit System) and the soft skills imparted through the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme.

The solid soft skill training and the internship experience through this scheme, allowed the graduate to develop the confidence to ace the interview with flying colors. It is to be noted that, the graduate had a Tamil medium schooling in Government School and was from a Tier 2/3 Engineering college.

A real example of how skilling programme with a coherent objective not just change the life of a student, but also allows companies to recruit graduates who know what they are talking about, and with good exposure that makes them add value to the team they are recruited in.
