@hurryram @DBTIndia @shekhar_mande @CSIR_IND Unfortunately, no one has ever shown any intent to do anything. How is it possible that no one in >15 yrs could ever see salary delays for months, low salary, no incentives for postdocs, phd as a problem and fix it? stop treating us as beggars!

Our fellowship is taxable. But our salary is always withheld for months and no incentives are given. What a hypocrite rotten system. When they want tax, we become a part of the system, when they have to give our salary, we become invisible.

@abhijit_MLab @LabSwanand everyone in the workforce in India gets incentives, PF, TA/DA, HRA, health benefits. Postdocs, PhDs dont. We are not a part of the system? Are we invisible?
Because you dont consider us as your workforce, that's why our salaries not being paid on time doesn't matter?

@LabSwanand Not fellows and Inspire faculty who are again dependent on the mercy of the agencies. I am taking about the members of Indian Research ecosystem who are on the permanent payroll. How will they react if say the secretaries of agencies don’t get their salaries for months? Or Profs?
