@mihir_keshari Very well written.

How much would you say @authoramish's 2020 book on Suheldev affected this counter hegemony?

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@chaisenbergg If the name and form are timeless then it can indeed be invoked in Treta Yuga

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@HelmanDaniel @seamsay Sean would know better but imo they are so many available interactions for a general molecule that unless you make most of the constituents heavy, configuration states aren't a useful description at all.

Ofc I might be missing some alternate description.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@seamsay It should split into a COM and relative motion. The COM part is trivial with HPA, but dropping would mean config states are now eigenstates of just the relative Hamiltonian, which need not commute with the full one.

Surprising because it means "real" H ground state is not 1s.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@smartserghash @chris_juravich @MaureenNeesp6k Yes, and the exponential is used as a damping factor quite commonly in numerical simulations.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@chris_juravich @MaureenNeesp6k For integral of e^(-x^2)/(x^2+a), it is just definition of error function and gives (pi/2sqrt(a)) e^a erfc(sqrt(a)). To increase the power of the denominator, we take derivatives w.r.t a.

What you are doing is using a recurrence relation to tie a higher power to lower ones.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@seamsay Would you say the same problem would arise if we move away from the heavy proton approximation in Hydrogen and give it a finite mass?

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@seamsay Quite surprising because Hydrogen does not have this problem! It seems like the electron-electron interaction is the culprit.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@seamsay We should still be able to write the ground state as a linear combination of configuration states (assuming completeness). So is it some mix of s and p?

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@the_aiju Would add Yang Mills to the unsolved list since it requires too much physics mumbo jumbo

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@CburgesCliff Big EFT would ofc like us to believe that

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@VatsalyaVaibha5 Is it because of the negative effects of PhD or the positive effects of PhD?

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@RBehiel Kind of how Marx emerged during the maturing of the first industrial revolution?

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@GodsNode Aristotle is talking about an eternal universe whereas Hinduism is talking about a cyclical one i.e. it is created and destroyed and so on. First one is like an infinite line, the second is a circle.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@AstroSharmistha @mmpandit Banasur was never killed though.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@RAMrahimmm @darkandcrude Not inaccessible. You have all the data and memories in you. And again it boils down to definitions of I, morality, and justice. Karma is not positive or negative, it is merely a response function. Satva begets satva, tamas begets mama's. Cold and rational like the law.

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@RAMrahimmm @darkandcrude The machinistic Dvaita POV calls it just a evolving highly non linear system with slightly different initial conditions. From choice based Dvaita, again there is an I based ID problem. Soul carries karma (prarabdha) determining your current circumstances but not current actions

[Dhruv @DhruvPathak672]

@RAMrahimmm @darkandcrude There is no karma at all then. It is you who are playing a script you wrote. You have full choice and no choice. The reward or punishment do not exist because the giver is you too. Even the action is not separate from you.
