Do you remember me? We met at your first UCI Staff Townhall when you became UCI Chancellor. We were all members of Teamsters Local 2010, bargaining our first contract with UC. We are currently bargaining our 3rd contract with UC.

Please @UCPrezDrake speak to Labor Relations at UCOP, and request they accept the union's proposal for more steps for the Library Assistants, shift differential pay, and fair and equitable pay for all our members.

There would be no University without the Libraries. Our work is essential to keep the University excellent and to the success of the students and the faculty. For too long the Library Assistants have been left behind. This is unconscionable in a higher education institution.
