@edmundlee This is funny because she still doesn’t get what the film is about or what Nathan Fielder does. Shallow surface analysis. Just tell us you’re dumb and be done with it lmao
@DomBooth19 The manager also bears responsibility for players “downing tools”. That happens when they see and feel they are being led by an inadequate leader who cannot give them the guidance he is supposed to be delivering. The player-manager relationship is a two way street.
@HughWoozencroft As I said, he came in as a breath of fresh air after the Amorim disaster. New season & players have dffrnt expectations. Everyone is absolving Carrick of responsibility, but it’s not just the players. The squad isn’t complete garbage. He has to do better with what has than 16th.
@HughWoozencroft Naturally, u need structure around u but there are basics of man management and team building that Carrick doesn’t seem to have. Two big players in as many weeks speaking out shows his authority wasn’t respected. His lack of coaching/management history also didn’t help with that.
@JDNalton Don’t worry, there’s plenty more capitalists ready to jump into their seat if they decide to sell up. Lots of ways they can screw over a great club too.
@MrTomMcDermott How is putting a player who said that about the manager on the bench, sending message. Being out the squad for at least this game is the right way to handle it. Imagine he comes on as sub, scores the winner and he’s the hero again, saving his managers neck. Terrible management.
@kevinhatchard You’re jumping from one extreme to another. Just bcos ppl find it hard to part with a fiver due to economic pressures, it doesn’t mean they believe evrythng is free. Their bills will tell them that. Of course ppl can charge for their content, but there’s a reality to that also.
