Yesterday evening a balcony collapsed in onto the street in my apartment building, just 4 years after construction.

The building, whose freeholder is Barking & Dagenham Council, was constructed by @BouyguesUK on behalf of @lbbdcouncil ‘s social and affordable housing company, BD Reside.

All 414 properties are now considered “unsafe” and we will need to erect scaffolding in across the entire estate to keep ourselves and the public safe.

@Jebadoo2 @Satsuma04523379 @FTFDesert @QueensSpeechUK I would assume that ‘Clean’ was short for ‘Clean bill of health’, meaning, recently STD tested and negative on all results, rather than clean being used an antonym for dirty… but there IS a lot of historical context that could understandably makes someone feel otherwise.

@McRaeAndrew @BenPBradshaw Parental responsibility is still a thing, Andrew & parental responsibility must not be overriddden w/o following the proper legal frameworks, ie social services & the family court system. If kids are in danger from parents, teachers must tell social services, not keep it secret!

Pits have been restricted for 30 years and the AKC ‘Am Bully’ workaround has resulted in the reintroduction of (rebranded) Pits = multiple fatalities in a very short period.

@TullipR Even without the trans element, performing ‘gender’ seems to me to be mostly about mate attraction (hence why ‘Saturday night on the pull’ outfits look very different to ‘home alone’ outfits). Women (on average) become less interested in performing femininity post menopause…

@DavidDecosimo I’m glad you’re OK! Those of who lost our parents young or who have witnessed our children face life threatening illness often do not expect to live a full life. The anxiety that comes with knowing life is fragile can be crippling. Perhaps your faith will be an anxiety shield? 🤞
