$SPX $SPY top chart is '66 I'm thinking market trades in a tight range rest of the month. '67 was a +20% year. 1966 was the first year inflation started to rise and 1967 it peaked momentarily which led to the strong gains. I believe this is the bulls best hope
Most “pro” @Polymarket trader accounts weren’t predicting BTC on 5\15 min
Yesterday "Polymarket removed ~0.5s order delay.
and a lot of free money vanished instantly.
What does it mean?
Price moves → UI updates slower than the matching engine
Bots click → orders fill at the old price → guaranteed value
Every fast spike gave them a free entry:
market already at 0.70
they still buy at 0.55
That’s not trading - that’s latency arbitrage.
Now the delay is gone.
When the price moves, you see the new price immediately.
No stale quotes → no free fills.
So the edge shifts:
Before: fastest click wins
Now: best decision wins
TA, patience and risk management now outperform reaction speed.
$GOOGL attracted significant net money inflows from top hedge funds which increased its stakes by 14% in Q3.
Bill Ackman, a top buyer, doubled his position to hold 4.35M+ shs. 👇🏼
And worth to mention $GOOGL is Stanley Druckenmiller's top pick, a new position.
$GOOGL has recovered most of its losses after Q3 earnings report.

Powell has promised to “keep at it until the job is done.” He is making it clear today that the job is not done. Going into today there was complacency that inflation will soon slow below 3%. Powell says currently no recession is being forecast.
Contrary to popular narrative, rents are at new highs, according to Zillow. Yes, more supply is coming (there are nearly one million multifamily units under construction, the most since May 1973), but demand remains strong.
One-month annualized super core is around 2.9%. Labor markets remain tight and strikes are looming. Powell says labor supply has improved. Says "we don't see 2% target being achieved until 2025." He said, inflation has proved to be more resilient than expected.
So far, the market reaction is muted, but starting to reverse off the highs intraday. Let's see how we close and how stocks trade over subsequent days.
Our models are positive (S&P 500 buy signal issued on January 13, 2023). While a pullback could occur at any time, I expect pullbacks on the S&P 500 to be contained to 5-10% (as discussed during my recent Weekend Study Session). We are focusing on select individual stock setups that meet our buy criteria.

@markminervini Mark can you give your opinion on Icahn and $IEP allegedly being a Ponzi scheme? I’m sure someone with close ties to Wall Street like yourself has some interesting insight
Motivational Monday.
After nearly 40-years of trading stocks, I have experience, of course. But there’s something you need in order to get that experience, it’s called persistence. Early on, I would say my main strength was my willingness to put in the time and do the work necessary to acquire the correct knowledge, and eventually the skill. I had unconditional patience. I knew success was not going to happen overnight, and I knew I had to take full responsibility for my results and use those experiences as a benchmark to learn from. This is where many go wrong; they go in with unrealistic expectations and think trading is going to be easy, and then when the going gets tough, they quit or change their strategy, so they never really give themselves a fair chance to succeed. They fail to embrace setbacks as lessons and instead feel like a failure. Bottom line: you can’t force experience and you must have experience to be great. Most people underestimate the learning curve and become disappointed when success doesn’t come quickly. But it’s no different than if you were to aspire to become a professional baseball player; you wouldn’t go straight from Little league right the majors, right? Of course not! You would have to work your way up from high school ball, to college, to the minor leagues and then, if you are good enough, as a rookie in the major league.
There’s a price everyone must pay to gain experience and achieve greatness in any field. High intellect or even god given talent won’t necessarily make you a champion any more than picking up a 5-iron will make you Tiger Woods. Every one of us knows plenty of hard-working people who started off talented or naturally gifted that never achieved their true potential. You must have knowledge, but it takes passion, persistence and a belief in your own ability; if you have those qualities, then you have a great chance at success. So, don't be too hard on yourself. Give your acorn time to grow into a strong oak.
