@dikshitsoni CBSA has authority to enforce immigration law in Canada, at ports of entry (POE) and abroad. It’s a national law enforcement agency with wide authority. Inland officers have differing authorities from port of entry officers. The agency as a whole does have power away from POEs.
@TTRRMK@ImmigrationbyB@CitImmCanada 💯 agree with you. It feels unethical & non-transparent. The IRCC generated views for an influencer which in turn results in monies being paid to them. The interview generated follows and interactions for the influencer as well - which again drums up money for them. Feels scummy
Why is information about a not yet released immigration program being shared by @CitImmCanada on the platform of an influencer and owner of an immigration platform instead of publicly on the #IRCC website or with a Canadian news organization? This is not the way to deter fraud!
@VancouverBuzzer@BenRabidoux Many institutions do recruit from these countries. Germany, Denmark and Sweden all subsidize post-secondary studies for their citizens. They have access to high quality, no/low cost, post secondary education. So, Canada is not a desired destination. GOC should have had caps.

@StevePaolasini Age is a factor. The doctors Canada attracts tend to be 30+ with dependents. This will bring the CRS down. Although 169 is the lowest score; most doctors who received an ITA will have a much higher CRS. Plus, most PNPs have a stream for doctors - so a small pool to draw from.
On Epstein files:
1. Why is the press referring to girls as women?
2. Why is the press inventing a term, 'underage women', there is no such thing.
3. There is no such thing as 'sex with a child', it is called child rape or child sexual abuse.
Stop minimising the criminality.
Important information for international students who plan to work while studying:

•If you are eligible to work off campus, you can only work up to 24 hours per week while classes are in session.
•Working more than you are allowed is a violation of your study permit conditions, which can have serious consequences.

We will stop accepting new start-up visa (SUV) commitment certificates as of December 31, 2025, as well as new SUV work permit applications, effective immediately.
These measures will help us prepare to launch a new pilot by the end of 2026 that better targets entrepreneurs and manage the current inventory of business program applications.
