Go @Cubs Go and Roll Tide Kade Snell!

[Greg Zumach @IvyFutures]

Cubs select Alabama OF, Kade Snell. Snell is a really good player but older so Cubs are likely looking at big slot savings
He seemed to level up offensively this year.

OF Kade Snell (@AlabamaBSB) hammers this to 1 hop the RF fence, plating 3 runs. Swings w/ intent & polished bat, tough K who is striking out at a miniscule 7% clip.

BREAKING: The Chicago Cubs have selected Alabama outfielder Kade Snell with the No. 151 overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft.

Snell arrived in Tuscaloosa as a two-way player but quickly emerged as a pivotal piece of Alabama’s lineup.

In two seasons, Snell amassed a .347 BA with 16 HR’s and 82 RBIs. In 360 at-bats, Snell struck out just 36 times.

A very good pickup for the Cubs organization! Congratulations, Kade!
