Ro has been putting up strong numbers all season for Decatur. He’s set to play a key role in their playoff run and will be a big part of keeping Decatur Baseball on top over the next two years.

I was fortunate enough to get to watch this outing. @RonanDiaz_3 may have had even better stuff in the 5th than he did in the first. Inning after inning Ronan kept @JNaill8’s regional favorite off balance.

For a 2028 to go out there & perform that way, as @DecaturBasebal1 gets set to take on two of the best teams in the region on Monday & Tuesday, was massive.

-Saved the bullpen
-Helped give his team a seeding edge

Northern is going to keep improving, they’re young and will be 10x better in a month, but at minimum Ronan increased the probability of a potential playoff matchup being at home rather than away.

Incredible outing from Decaturs 2028 RHP.
