After the group of young ones we met a family of 6. 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children. They had spent a month travelling from Kurdistan. The Border Force soon came to their aid.
A real shock to the system yesterday as I walked through Folkestone Warren Beach. A group of 12 young people approached us smiling and very happy chatting on their phones. All dressed in black! Half a mile further on we spotted their brand new boat on the waters edge.
Another day with the KCC appeals committee. Listening to why parents want KCC to pay for a taxi to take their child to school. Some really do need help but many just try to take advantage. Wheat from the chaff again !!
Yes! Our solar panels are now installed. Scaffolding was put up on Saturday, the installation itself took about 6 hours today. We have 13 panels & a battery. The online monitoring looks like it will provide hours of entertainment. #SolarTogether#KentEnvironment

@StephenJamesGBR I just love this photo, the look on HM the Queens face as she walks past Prince Phillip is priceless. May he rest in peace after a lifetime of serving HMQ and the country
@TiceRichard Why all this hoo ha about carrying identification? A huge number of people in the UK already carry identification and have done for decades. It’s called a driving license!
Enjoyed giving an update on my activity as a KCC member to Folkestone’s Town Council last evening. New 40mph limit on Dover Hill, More barriers on the sharp bends of the A260. Best was the £2000 to kick start the huge children’s play area on East Cliff to match Radnor Park’s.
