@MarcRyanOnAir You’re spot on here. However, I do think they should trade Skubal regardless if they can get a proven bat for the future. Our rotation should be really good going forward regardless. He made it clear he doesn’t want to be here when he made Boras his agent.
@the_det_times Absolutely. He showed that he doesn’t want to be here by hiring Scott Boras as an agent. The Tigers could get a proven bat and still compete for the division and be setup for the future
@BriceMarich I think it’s a good move. This way he’s not a lame duck coach. He’ll be able to go after the recruits and get the coaches he wants. And if Michigan does really want an external candidate, then they can bite the bullet on the money and hire someone at the end of the year.
@MichiganPodcast I think this is a great move. This way he’s not a lame duck. So he’ll be able to recruit and get the coaches he needs. Also, if Michigan finds somebody they really like, then they can put feelers out and hire them at the end of the year. And bite the bullet on Boynton deal.
@Balas_Wolverine Michigan should’ve just given Boynton a 3 year deal with no interim tag. This way he can recruit and build a good staff. This way he’s not handicapped trying to do his job. If he’s a bust or you really like an external coach then bite the bullet get rid of him and get rid of him.
@BenVerlander Trade him regardless. He doesn’t want to be here. Not worth the risk keeping him. Our rotation will be good in the future. Trade him for a haul and get a proven right handed bat.
@stoney16 Why would we give up that much for Herro? Yea he can score at a higher level than Duncan Robinson. However, he’s a turnstile defensively like Robinson also. At that point keep and Holland Stewart. 0 plus minus benefit. However much would Murphy cost?
