@VanderburghBill @ronnotel My colleague encountered one in the submission process to a medical journal. I don't remember the name of the journal, and I don't know whether the statement would have made it to print or if it was just information to the reviewers. Point is they exist, at least.

Woke-maailmankuvassa kaikkea tulkitaan valtasuhteiden näkökulmasta, ja oikeassa oleminen riippuu siitä kuka asian sanoo. Eri mieltä olevien argumentteja ei pyritä kumoamaan, vaan heidät pyritään hiljentämään.

@griswold @cremieuxrecueil The two party system emerges as a direct result of the first past the post voting system. See Duverger's law. The only way to have more parties would be to change the voting system. The ruling parties will of course not allow this, so it will never happen. You're stuck.

@cremieuxrecueil I think political views map pretty directly to one's (perceived) self-benefit. Politics is simple like that.

Could it be that "Libertarian" views benefit those at the top, and those at the top tend to be intelligent? Would explain the association neatly.
