I love these crime shows where they tell the wives their secret boyfriend killed their husbands. And they’re like, “no that’s not possible!!) I’m like yeah, bitch, he killed I him. Oops.
Today, I was patiently being yelled at by a guest who was furious that his party was asked to get up for the next reservation after 3 hours. A different guest at the bar yelled out “dude, you’re a dick!” I love that guy. We did shots. #serverlife
@willislove@tmj4 Had to call the police last night to remove a driver. Spoke to other downtown establishments having the same issues. It’s a real problem we are facing on top of the already grueling demands of reopening, while wildly understaffed and unable to meet local demand.
Hey @tmj4 how about a story on the strong-arm and bullying techniques food delivery services use to force small businesses into using their services without consent? Even after cease and desist letters and police calls due to unruly and violent drivers?
Hey #UberEats, the frequency of which this occurs now has me under the impression that you not only condone these types of strong-arm tactics, but you in fact encourage and reward them. #serverlife (3)
Hey #UberEats we never agreed to participate in your delivery program. We have sent multiple cease and desist letters to your company to no avail. Your drivers lie and pose and legitimate curbside orders and now pose a safety threat to my staff and guests. #serverlife (2)
Hey #UberEats, we had to call the police on one of your drivers last night that refused to leave our establishment last night after we refused to fulfill his order. He threatened my GM with violence and caused an enormous scene during the rush (1) #serverlife
I wonder how many of these assholes who fk up their res online, by canceling or booking the wrong day actually look at OpenTable and realize their error and say damn, I probably shouldn’t have yelled at that poor person doing their best for me #zero#serverlife#fuckthisshit
In elementary school my team lost unfairly in a game of dodgeball because the other side hit our last man standing in the head and I challenged it and our PE teacher said “In a year you won’t remember this game” and I said “What’s the date?” and he said “April 11th.” Here we are.
In a tense exchange, bystander Donald Williams pushed back when the Derek Chauvin's attorney asked whether he grew more and more angry with Chauvin during the fatal arrest of George Floyd.
"I stayed in my body. You can't paint me out to be angry."
