EVR 2.10.1 is rolling out now -- here are the major changes since 2.10.0:
- Edit screen improved: visuals, selection, and playback should now work more smoothly.
- Wear OS updated to Android 16, with support for Ambient mode.
- Many bug fixes and other improvements.

We've just finished rolling out EVR 2.10.2.1. Here are the main updates since 2.10.1:
- Preview your audio with a new mini player. Drag up the player to see the waveform visualization.
- Playback now uses a new audio engine, enabling new features like skipping silence during playback.
- Waveform loading on the edit screen is now significantly faster.
- Hotfixes for Android 16 TalkBack.
- Bug fixes and improvements.

Finally, as we had no luck in resolving our payment issues with @Meta as we can't get past their AI gatekeeper, our new builds no longer contain Meta ads. The benefit to you: less runtime and storage usage.

Trying to get payouts from @Meta has been an exercise in frustration -- after trying to link our bank account, payouts are now disabled and we can't reach a human. We've been on Google Play and the App Store for years and have never had any issues with them. @MetaforBusiness, can someone help?

Winter holiday update: We’re rolling out an update to Easy Metronome on Android and iOS with stereo playback & a new drums & percussion IAP set featuring 9 new drum sounds. Our team worked hard on these ones, so we hope that you like them.

The app dates back to 2012, so this was a big project for us.

Our goals for 2026:
* Full‑screen player
* In‑app transcriptions
* Tags & bookmarks
* And more.

Our goal is to do this without drastically altering the UI or making the app harder to use.

@RobVis Sorry, missed this. I'm not sure about the keyboard shortcuts tbh; we would have to look at that further. On which device are you using the app?

@8gokartracer You could also try turning off Media from the Bluetooth connection if you don't want anything auto-playing.

This problem is kind of frustrating and has different solutions depending on the handset/ car. Please contact us from the app's About and we will help further. Thank you.

@8gokartracer Hi, this usually happens because the car is sending a Play command over Bluetooth to the phone. Possible fixes:
1) On the car, turn off "autoplay over Bluetooth" under Bluetooth options or Android Auto.
2) Turn off the same under Bluetooth options on the device.

@kpraveen_ I don't think it would be possible currently as that would require capturing directly from the device instead of through the speaker (and the app in question has to permit this). We have that slotted in as a potential improvement for the future. Thank you!
