Our September book was Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica. This mystery follows the denizens of a small suburban town that is turned upside down when two women and a child go missing. We had fun discussing who we thought "did it", and yes, even dissecting some of the plot holes.

Pachinko by Min Jin Lee was our August pick and the group really enjoyed it! This multi-generational story of a Korean family hooks you from the beginning. Starting in the early 1900s and continuing through WW2, Pachinko is about "love, sacrifice, ambition, and loyalty".
