Last night, #Digital Irish was honored to join the @SelectUSA conference delegation for a special evening at the Embassy of Ireland, USA, hosted by Deputy Ambassador Fionnuala Quinlan. The reception highlighted the strength and depth of U.S.-Ireland economic ties and the unique opportunities for Irish firms to grow and thrive in the U.S. market.

A major thank you Elizabeth Schaffer, Deputy Director of the SelectUSA program, and a special thank you to Julianne O'Leary from the U.S. Embassy Dublin for her support in fostering transatlantic connections.

The Deputy Ambassador Quinlan discussed how Ireland is the 3rd largest source of FDI from Europe, and 6th globally, with a remarkable $350 billion invested in the U.S. as of 2024.

Today, 200,000 people across all 50 states are employed by Irish companies.

And in sectors like aviation, Irish companies make a global impact—Ireland is Boeing’s largest customer.

This morning Digital Irish partnered with Sonalake to host the delegation for a breakfast gathering at the SelectUSA conference.

This relaxed morning meetup helped cement new relationships and spark fresh conversations before another high-energy day at the conference hosted by Glen Farrell and Ciaran Treanor of Sonalake with some great words from our own DC Community Lead and Digital Irish Podcast host Dave Byrne!
