I'm not sure I've been more proud of a data project. The USA 🇺🇸 Prep WAR Leaderboard now houses pages for each of the 6 regions, meaning you can find ALL of my high school player ratings in one spot.

We're up to 25,000 players & counting!

@ckamka @bachlaw Shades of the 2012 World Series. Verlander, Scherzer, Sanchez, and Porcello… swept by #sfgiants!

Prospect of the Year bracketology! Voting continues with the @ProspectLarceny region 👇

@BaseballJeff1 It took 6 months, but the #SFGiants finally caught the break they sorely needed!

@JustGusPD @RagedHaveLomo Really makes me wonder, were the MP ratings actually just Freeman (CalPreps) when that deal was originally made? I honestly don't follow the NCS closely enough to know, but it seems like they've been one of the sections using cpu ratings for some time now.

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@JustGusPD @RagedHaveLomo Does the NCS use MaxPreps or CalPreps rankings for their seeding?

Congratulations to Alpha 2027 @halljacob14 (Stevenson HS) on his commitment to @RegisUBaseball !!!

When they tell you sports gambling is harmless: no it isn't. Nicole Noren on why she left ESPN.

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@kendallbaker I’ve noticed for sure.

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@JustinBuettner You think Destiny has a chance against Grant? I know they're ranked very high but I haven't followed them closely this year.

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@paulmeadors Hey Paul, how do they differentiate D1-AA vs D1-A? Is it based on rankings, or are they actually separate enrollment divisions?

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@RagedHaveLomo No wonder I was confused!

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

Here's my weekly attempt to predict the CIF NorCal Regional 🏈 matchups, as well as visuals of my research on NorCal & state performance by section. I use MaxPreps rankings to project section champions, and my own research to create divisional placements.

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@RagedHaveLomo Awesome! How many wins does an NCS team need to qualify?

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@RagedHaveLomo I’ll admit it’s just a best guess at the top team from each division, until an NCS expert gives me something better the work with!

[Pitcher DIGS @DigsPitcher]

@gabecamarillo_ @KMPHFOX26 Was Pina at Golden West last year?

[Joe Davidson @SacMedia_JoeD]

I enjoyed doing this story. Have known @PlacerAthletics FB coach Joey Montoya & brother @SMontoyaMP of @MaxPreps for years.
This book and potential movie is rooted in their grandfather's remarkable coaching impact of the Placer Hillmen

@JimmySpencer Very, very well said.

The MLB postseason commercials are especially unsuitable for young fans this year

And that's even before accounting for all the awful political ads

I had a great weekend at the WWBA Underclass in Fort Myers. I ended up winning MVPitcher of the tournament along with my team winning the whole tournament. I threw a combined 5.2IP with 7K,0H,0BB,0R, in my outings I had a combined 82% strikes. These were my last two outings of the year. Thank you to Trosky for the opportunity to play this summer/fall. Spring next! @TroskyTeams @CoachRuiz_TN @RileyCarterAMG @_Newmanbaseball @HankLoForte @DigsPitcher @Vartradamus
