I think by now, nothing should surprise Fubara anymore. The way and manner in which the APC treats him on a daily basis should no longer be a concern to him.
As usual, Fubara is the only APC governor who was not given the privilege of serving as the Director-General of his state's campaign council.
Even in places like Anambra and Osun, where there are no APC governors, they still allowed the governors to lead their respective states' campaign councils.
But in Rivers State, where the APC has a sitting governor, Fubara was not given the same privilege.
Well, I know that Fubara is just in Government House, waiting for his tenure to expire so he can finally go home.
Lol.

The Lagos-Calabar Highway should be called Lagos Coastal Highway. It will not get to Calabar. The Minister has vindicated me by talking about the terrain. The project is so shady. We can't afford it. I think the idea behind the road was to give a coastal road from Victoria island to Epe. To me, it's a land grab because they're sandfilling.

Governors Adeleke and Soludo Should Have Been Sanctioned by Their Political Parties for Being on the Campaign Team for President Tinubu - Sambo
They are engaging in classical antiparty because there is no formal agreement between the APC and APGA or the APC and ACCORD. If it were the other way round, President Tinubu would come after the head of any APC governor who goes ahead to be on the campaign team of the opposition.

“Politics Is Really Strong” — Man Expresses Shock Over Actor William Uchemba’s Silence on Bad Governance
“Politics is really strong ooo. So, all of a sudden, actor William Uchemba is no longer talking about bad governance? If you knew him before, you wouldn’t believe he could change this way. Imagine, he has not even acknowledged that someone died during the NDC att@ck. The same goes for his in-law, Governor Peter Mbah, who has also not acknowledged the de@th.”
— Man expresses shock over the alleged silence of actor William Uchemba and Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah following the reported de@th during the NDC att@ck.
Let me burst the bubble the Tinubu supporters have been hiding!
Aside from the fact that the Coastal Road itself is an almost impossible ambition. (Donald Duke has also acknowledged this)
The bigger concern is the long-term economic implications for the South-South region and by extension South East.
These guys are planning for every region to be perpetually dependent on the LAKAJI ECONOMY CORRIDOR.
Let me give you a perfect example, the gas pipeline runs from Delta State to Ogun, Lagos to Oyo state, powers the industries in this region, While cities such as Agbor, Asaba, Warri, Ughelli, Kwale etc are excluded from the gas pipelines.
The implication is clear: these communities will continue to depend on products manufactured in other regions instead of building their own industrial capacity.
Their youths will continue to drive Keke and operate POS.
Walk into any store in the South-South, pick up any packaged product, even something as simple as a biscuit, and check where it was manufactured. You will begin to understand the extent of economy dependency on those places industries are located.
Rather than deliberately investing in maritime opportunities and creating an enabling environment for manufacturing, they focus on paying local charlatans to safeguard pipelines that transport resources and create economic opportunities elsewhere.
If that money paid to those guys to safeguard pipelines were invested in cottage industries, those boys engaging in oil pipeline vandalization will be engaged and employed.
I’m here to tell you that the Coastal Road project will follow a similar pattern, further entrenching the South-South region’s dependence on goods, services, and economic infrastructure controlled by South West.
Have you wondered why they are agitated when there is a conversation around building seaport in the South-South?
They invent all manner of stories and excuses.
Wait until East to West road is completed, you will hear more stories.
“Why build another seaport in the South-South when there are already several in the South-West? Just use trucks and trailers to transport the goods down South naa”
That is precisely the kind of thinking that keeps a Nigeria where it is today.
The issue is not whether the South-South should have roads or whether the Coastal Road is inherently bad.
The real question is whether these projects are being designed to promote balanced development, industrialisation, and economic independence?
Here is the main question everyone should ask;
WHY CAN’T FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOP MARITIME OPERATION IN THE REGION FIRST?
WHY CANT THEY BUILD PORT OPERATION ALONG THE COAST?
WHAT ARE THEY AFRAID OF?
These oil-producing regions have long been vulnerable to political divisions that weaken their ability to unite around common economic interests and demand better conditions for their people.
That’s something they are exploiting to plant division across the board using some heads.
Warri is a perfect example!
You can watch this video to understand better.
Senator Godswill Akpabio takes a direct swipe at Governor Hope Uzodinma. I hope Hope got the message.

Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala reveals her worst days in office as Finance Minister.
She noticed large sum of money was being spent on fuel subsidy to oil importers. She investigated and discovered a $2.4 billion fraud. So she refused to pay the importers.
This led to threats to her and her mother got kidnapped. For her mother to be released, the kidnappers asked her to resign and leave the country.
But the mother later escaped and kidnappers were caught.
What @realdaveumahi & his principal have organised in the so-called #LagsCalabarCoastalRoad is the biggest heist in #Nigerian history. They knew it from before the very 1st day.

According to Rev. Mbaka, nobody should blame Nigerian youths for following Peter Obi. They are not chasing a man.
They are looking for who can pull them out of a system that has failed them.
When jobs are scarce, prices keep rising, and leadership offers little hope, young people will follow whoever looks ready to fix it. That search is not a crime.
It is a response to bad governance.
Blame the system, not the generation trying to escape it.

Respect! Things I love to see.
In 1999, the Igbos sacrificed their own ambitions and stepped back just to ensure two Yoruba brothers—Obasanjo and Falae—were the only main options on the ballot, all to calm the tension in the land. That sacrifice gave the Southwest 8 years as President and another 8 years as Vice President.
When it was the turn of the South-South, the same support was given to ensure they got their 8 years across the Presidency and Vice Presidency.
Now that it is naturally the turn of the Southeast for equity and justice, the same people are swearing to bring calamity upon the nation instead of reciprocating the fairness.
I pour una spit. The same people that caused Biafra war. The same people that is envious of igbos. And the same people that doesn’t want igbos to go. The same people that jailed nnamdi Kanu.

“Why would the South-West continue to lord it over other components of the Southern part of the country?… Since 1999 to date, the South-West has had 8 years of presidency, 8 years of vice presidency and then Tinubu came and he has had another 4 years (12 years of presidency…”

POINT OF CORRECTION: Nigeria has never united on zoning issues, involving political parties, civil groups, or pressure organizations etc. There’s no official North-South zoning; this is a PDP-specific matter. Currently, only the PDP has incorporated zoning into its constitution.
Irrespective of the political parties, we have always had both North and South politicians appear on ballots in every election cycle except in 1999… The six geopolitical zones were created by Gen. Sani Abacha in 1999 for rotation and power-sharing, not along North-South lines.
It is common knowledge that the North-West has held power for over 10 years under Buhari and Yar’Adua. It’s unfair for Kwankwaso and Yari to aim for the presidency in 2031, given that the North-East and North-Central regions haven't yet produced a president.
Finally, those claiming it’s the South’s turn should recognize they are advocating for Tinubu's presidency.
